Aisha Hinds is an American actor best known for playing roles in the television series The Shield and True Blood. Ever since her debut in 2003 she has proved her abilities as an actress by giving stunning performances on television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 as well as Under the Dome. Her role as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first to draw her attention. It was however her portrayal of women's liberation activist Fannie Louis Hamer from the biography film All the Way, which brought her the recognition she earned as an actress. Hind was also recognized for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical drama series Underground. After the film's release, Provoked the a True Story in English, she went back to Bollywood and appeared in the blockbuster Dhoom: 2 (2007). Abhishek Bachchan was a frequent actor and father of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. In April 2007, she married the actor. This union brought together two powerful Bollywood personalities.
