Aisha Hinds is an American actor best known for playing roles in the television series The Shield and True Blood. Ever since her debut in 2003 she has proved her abilities as an actress by giving stunning performances on television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 as well as Under the Dome. Her role as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first to draw her attention. It was however her portrayal of women's liberation activist Fannie Louis Hamer from the biography film All the Way, which brought her the recognition she earned as an actress.
