Rena Sherel Sofer (born December 2 1968) is an American actress and model, well-known for her roles on daytime television, episodic guest appearances, and made-for-television movies. Sofer has been awarded a Daytime Emmy Award 1995 for her role as Lois Cerullo of the soap opera General Hospital. From 2013 until 2022, she played the character of Quinn Fuller on the CBS soap drama The Bold and the Beautiful.





 Early life



 Sofer was born in Arcadia (California), the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) who works as a psychologist, and Martin Sofer, who is an Orthodox Rabbi.





 She relocated with her father and brother David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in the year 1970. However, when Sofer was 5 years old, they resided in Western Pennsylvania. They lived in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father was the director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She later attended the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is an co-educational Modern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. Her father was a rabbi of Temple Beth El. Sofer graduated from North Bergen High School and then went to Montclair State College.





 Career



 Daytime television



 Lois Marie Cerullo was the first Lois Marie Cerullo that Sofer was a part of on General Hospital. In 1993, she was a band manager. Her first major role was as Rocky McKenzie on the daytime soap drama Loving (1988-91).
